Whether you are a formal or informal educator, the GC3 Educator’s Guide will help you effectively use and integrate the GC3 Video Series in your work with young people. The guide’s activities, discussion ideas, and resources will complement your use of the videos and deepen learners’ understanding of STEM careers.
Video Production Curriculum
EDC and is partners developed the EDC GC3 Video Production Curriculum to create the GC3 Video Series. You, too, can use the curriculum to create a STEM career video series with middle school-age girls that helps girls investigate STEM experiences and career choices and interview women who are STEM professionals in a field of their interest. The curriculum’s activities also support young people in identifying biases and unspoken assumptions about gender roles and aid them in developing basic media literacy skills.
